Washington, D.C., October 31, 2022 – Earth & Water Law, LLC (E&W Law) announced today the addition of a new Associate Sabren Wahden and Law Clerk Charles Ziscovici.

Sabren Wahden received her Juris Doctor degree from the Antonin Scalia Law School of George Mason University in 2022. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a Minor in Communications & Philosophy from Marymount University. Sabren’s strong interest in environmental law and regulation was sparked by her studies at Scalia under Professor E. Donald Elliott, a partner at E&W Law. In addition to her background in environmental law, she is an experienced Judicial Law Clerk, serving for the Honorable James Clark of the Alexandria Circuit Court in Virginia in 2020.

“I am excited to bring my diverse background in law and my Arabic language to the firm. I am grateful to Brent Fewell, Don Elliott and everyone at E&W Law for this opportunity,” said Sabren.

Sabren’s experience includes corporate business law; intellectual property and copyright law; criminal and civil rights law, as well as immigration law. She has also done pro bono work with those seeking asylum and safe harbor from violence. The youngest of six children, Sabren’s parents immigrated to the United States from Palestine in the 1970’s seeking a brighter future for themselves and their children. Sabren speaks Arabic fluently and represents Arabic-speaking, as well as U.S., companies and entities on a broad range of U.S. commercial law issues.

E&W Law is also pleased to announce its newest Law Clerk, Charles Ziscovici. Charles is a second-year law student at the George Washington University Law School, pursuing an administrative law and government regulation concentration.

“It is a privilege and an honor to be part of E&W Law and I look forward to working with and learning from such a talented group of legal experts” said Charles.

Prior to law school, Charles worked extensively in the life sciences and healthcare industries and is able to draw on significant scientific expertise in chemical, health, and environmental matters. He also trained as a medical doctor at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and worked as a clinical project manager where he oversaw various projects related to precision diagnostic medicine and ensuring compliance with FDA, CMS, and CDC regulations for Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) accreditation.

“Sabren and Charlie are two of the most talented young people I have known in my 40 years of law teaching. I am proud that we have been able to recruit them to E&W Law” said E. Donald Elliott, E&W Law Partner.
