Lawrence Pittman is a graduate of the nationally recognized environmental and energy law programs at Lewis & Clark Law School and was formerly with a large western utility working on environmental and energy law projects. Lawrence represents clients on legal issues relating to Federal and state regulatory matters involving water, energy law and related items including the Clean Water Act, Federal Power Act, National Environmental Policy Act, species issues, and related matters. Lawrence also represents clients on matters regarding property law, the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act (PURPA), and tort matters. Lawrence has been active with the American Bar Association and served as President of Lewis & Clark’s Student Bar Association, Co-President of the Black Law Students Association, served on the ABA Student Division Nominating Committee, and representative on the Multnomah Bar Association. Lawrence is currently active with the City of Atlanta's - Sustainability Ambassador Program, Georgia State's Young Alumni Council and the Environmental Justice Academy hosted by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
